Caries
Once your child has cavities, they are considered at high-caries risk. If you have not already, please see your dentist to get the cavity looked at. The dentist may offer a variety of options that they will walk you through. Filling, Silver Diamine Fluoride, or Extraction may be provided. Once the cavity has been taken care of at-home oral hygiene is important to review.

Flossing
Brushing alone cannot clean between your teeth and allows plaque to build up. This is where flossing comes in. Floss or floss picks are used to scrape between the teeth and should be done at least once a day. A Waterpik is an adjunct to flossing and should not take its place.
